FRANKE TOBEY JONES

My mom was a resident of Franke Tobey Jones for the last 9 years, first in assisted living and then in memory care. The facility and campus are great, but it is the staff that really makes FTJ exceptional.The CNA’s, activity personnel and nurses treated my mom with kindness and compassion from the very beginning, and became her extended family in her new home. When I would visit, my mom always had a smile on her face, and would say “I really like it here!” The nursing staff was so thoughtful and competent in caring for my mom at the end of her life, and also extended support and empathy to me and my sister, which we greatly appreciated. FTJ is the best, and I can’t say enough good things about it!

The feeling of compassion is present in their employees. It is a hard transition with having to move a parent into a new living situation and they make it known our mother will be well taken care of by the best.

We have enjoyed two highly informative visits to Franke Tobey Jones, as prospective residents. The campus is attractive and well located. Rare among the CCRCs we have seen, their independent living options are quite varied--from cottages to garden apartments to third-floor flats with a splendid view. They have a new and impressive rehab center, and an old and very handsome dining hall. Best of all, the people we met, both residents and staff, all seemed engaged and engaging.
