My mother started living at Foss cottages 7 years ago. She had to transition over to the skilled nursing facility about 4years ago. She has been under the watchful eye of Violet Baharloo after making this move. We are so fortunate to have such a caring, detailed, & good communicative RN taking care of my mother. She is always thinking of what would be in her best interest & is a big asset to the Broadview Center!

Violet Baharloo (RN) was an absolute angel to my mother and all of our family. She is very knowledgeable, smart and wonderful personality. Shana the social worker was very professional and kind.

My mother is on day 4 of an expected 2-4 week rehab period (after she broke her hip and multiple ribs and spent 10 days at UW for hip replacement and care for multiple serious chronic medical issues.) So far, she has only one physical therapy session in four days, and only after many requests. She has not had any labs drawn, despite discharge instructions from UW for labs within 3 days. She finally had a shower and a change of bedding on day 4, after numerous requests. It takes 5 to 10+ minutes for anyone to answer a patient’s call button. My mother is wearing her Apple Watch in case she needs to call 911 herself in a medical emergency. This place fails to provide even basic care, rudimentary medical attention or rehabilitation activities for patients. We are looking into other placements, but the options for Kaiser Permanente patients are very limited. I have attempted to reach a supervisor/charge nurse multiple times, only to be told there is no one available. Note that all of the responses to negative reviews here are unsigned and provide only the front desk number.
