When we toured the facility with my grandmother, the first thing she said was that it felt like a real home, not an institution. Fast forward two years and she's found a community, takes pride in helping with activities, and actually looks forward to events. The staff rotation is consistent so she recognizes the same faces, which matters more than people realize.

my husband's memory care journey has been so much harder than i expected but the team at willowbrook meets me where i am. they don't judge when i'm frustrated, they celebrate small wins with me, and they genuinely seem to care about both of us. having good people handling his care lets me actually be his wife again instead of just his caregiver.

My elderly neighbor was here for several weeks before she passed. Absolute worst facility I have ever seen. Would be there for hours, and no one would check on her. Food was horrible, and they would often forget the utensils. Never saw anyone in the common areas. Would not recommend to anyone.

We almost placed my mother somewhere else, but Willowbrook's memory care coordinator spent time understanding what she loved before admission. Now she participates in crafts, gardening, and music therapy, and the staff updates us weekly with specific stories about her day. The difference in her mood since we moved her is impossible to ignore.

I was hesitant about moving here until I met with the director and toured the facilities. What convinced me was seeing actual residents laughing together in the common areas and staff who seemed genuinely interested in how people were doing. The meals are restaurant quality, which honestly surprised me, and my roommate has become a real friend.
