Finding the right place for an aging parent is one of the most difficult decisions a family can make. My sister and I spent a great deal of time searching for a community where our 85-year-old dad—and his beloved cat—would truly feel at home. The moment we walked into Evergreen Senior Living, we noticed something special. It wasn't just the beautiful community; it was the interactions we observed between the residents and the staff. The smiles, kindness, laughter, and genuine care were immediately apparent. We both looked at each other and knew we had found the right place. Knowing our dad is surrounded by compassionate people who truly care about his well-being gives us tremendous peace of mind, especially on the days we can't be there ourselves. He has settled in beautifully, and being able to bring his cat with him made the transition even more comforting. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Evergreen Senior Living for making what could have been a very overwhelming experience such a positive one. Thank you for providing not just a place to live, but a place our dad is proud to call home.

My mom, Ina, spent 16 years of living with me and my husband (in her own space), and we needed a break. After much research, I chose Evergreen Senior Living. It started out to be just a two-week respite period, but upon consulting with people in my life who I hold in high regard, it was recommended to make it permanent. This did not bode well with her, but we proceeded and moved her in July of 2022. Best decision EVER. It took a while for her to acclimate, but within a short period, she adapted and became quite popular with residents and staff. I affectionally call it "the Resort", because if they had a pool, I'd have moved in! The grounds are lovely and well maintained, as is the interior. Clean public restrooms, no odor, well-furnished and esthetically appealing. The dining room is very inviting and well-kempt and staff is very accommodating The staff is personable, caring, attentive and kind. There are a multitude of activities every day and weekly outings outside of the Resort, including dining out, shopping and the casino! My mom had to check her calendar to see if she was "available" for me to visit. They also have a salon for haircuts, styles, etc. as well as offering manicures on a weekly basis. There is transportation available every Tuesday and Thursday for residents to attend medical, dental and eye appointments. They also host events for families a couple times a year (summer picnic and Holiday luncheon) and they're very well attended. I'd be remiss not to mention "Happy Hour" every Friday at 3:30. :-) Green Tree is their pharmacy and can supply all of your loved one's medications pre-portioned, packaged and covered by Medicare. The meds can be self-administered or by the nursing staff, depending on the resident's capability and family preference. The use of Green Tree is not a requirement. ESL also has in-house PT/OT staff and equipment on the premise (also available to Legacy residents). They are wonderful and patient. They want to see the residents be comfortable, strong and thrive and will do all they can to make that happen. The nursing staff is on-point, as I received calls late at night if my mom was having an issue. My mom was hospitalized on January 8, 2026 and diagnosed with Flu A virus. She remained there for 10 days and sent to a skilled nursing facility (SNF), from which she was discharged on February 20. We moved her back to her own apartment at ESL under hospice care. She passed away on March 8 at the age of 90 1/2. Between residents and staff, it was like a parade in her apartment. Everyone was so incredibly supportive, it left me speechless. I have been back a couple of times and plan to do so at least once a month to visit with the friends we made there, both residents and staff. I have and will recommend Evergreen to anyone looking for an assisted living or memory care facility for their loved ones. Thank you ALL for what you do. Susan

If you are looking for a community where your loved one will truly thrive, I cannot recommend Evergreen Senior Living highly enough. My 80-year-old mother moved in December 2025, starting with a two-week stay in Memory Care before transitioning to a one-bedroom in Assisted Living. The difference in her health and happiness over the last six months has been night and day. When she arrived, we were struggling with dementia symptoms and medication management. Thanks to the diligent oversight of the health team, she is doing better now than she has in years. While she values her independence—which the staff encourages—Assisted Living provides the perfect safety net that Independent Living simply couldn't offer. A Personal Touch What sets Evergreen apart is how welcome they make the entire family feel. They know us by name, and the environment is incredibly warm: Executive Leadership: Teresa, the Executive Director, feels like a friend and always takes time to chat with my kids. Kathy, the Director of Nursing, takes every concern seriously and is incredibly quick to find solutions and communicate options. Front Desk: Denise is a ray of sunshine, always offering help to residents and family members alike with genuine kindness. Memory Care Team: During my mom’s initial stay, David and Tracy were outstanding, making her feel safe and keeping me updated every step of the way. Dining & Care: The nurses are attentive, and the caretakers, Martha and Bridgette are the BEST! All of the CNAs and are consistently warm and positive. In the dining room, Kim and Robert do a wonderful job and are working hard to accommodate my mom’s vegetarian preferences. Activities & Engagement The activities staff is wonderful, and Melissa, the Activities Director, deserves a special mention. My mom feels such a warmth toward Melissa, who has made a huge difference in helping her feel comfortable. Between the crafts, outings, and physical therapy, my mom is staying active and has made wonderful new friends. A Beautiful Place to Call Home The community itself is stunning—it feels like a modern lodge. The hardwood brings a sense of warmth, and the common areas are clean and beautifully maintained. My mom loves the puzzle room and the library, which features beautiful open windows overlooking the surrounding grasslands. The dining room includes a bar where residents enjoy happy hour on Fridays, and the rooms overlook a gorgeous courtyard. I especially love that the courtyard has a playground, making it a place where family members and children can truly play and feel at home. A True Blessing I am so incredibly thankful to have found Evergreen Senior Living and the staff that supports its residents. It has made a huge difference in my peace of mind. As a parent of two little kids, trying to provide the full level of care my mom needed was becoming overwhelming. Knowing that I have a dedicated team working with me to make these years her best has been a true blessing. It is a beautiful community and a wonderful place to live.

We brought my mom to Evergreen in January and have been very happy with the care she’s receiving. The facility is clean and well maintained, and the staff has been consistently friendly and supportive.
