Great place, Tina was awesome and very informative, beautiful setting, 1 bedroom has plenty of storage, employees are welcoming and friendly, lunch was very good, room pricing is within average range. Three meals a day plus an amazing bistro menu. Would highly recommend this facility as a senior home!

Our team takes pride in creating a welcoming environment with quality meals and comfortable living spaces. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to continuing to serve our residents!

I give it 5 stars for the activities, food and caregiving & housekeeping staff. The activities director & staff are the best in the business. They work tirelessly to provide enriching and entertaining activities and programs for the residents. And the care team really cares. A community like this is only as good as the people they hire to tend to our loved ones. It was my dad’s home for 3 years and he loved living there. Thank you to the staff at Eskaton GB.

Response from the owner

Thank you, Linda, for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that the activities, food, and dedicated staff made such a positive impact on your dad’s experience. Our team is truly passionate about creating a nurturing environment for all residents. Your kind words mean a lot to us!

The staff is great and the location is quiet. Unfortunately, ever since the last head chef left 1 month ago, the food quality went from excellent to awful. The food now has no taste, dry, cold and boring. I suspect it came from previously frozen cafeteria food. The dessert looks like it came from Costco. For the price you paid to stay here, you would expect more. A lot more. Recommend eat at the restaurant at least 2x before you sign up.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed our staff and the peaceful atmosphere. We take your comments about the food seriously and are working on improvements. Your experience matters to us, and we appreciate your insights as we strive to enhance our offerings.

Eskaton was a great experience for my elderly mom. From Sarah and the leadership team welcoming her to the facility, to the warm welcome at the front desk each visit, to the patience and kindness with the kitchen staff, to the friendly encounters with housekeeping, and especially the care and concern of the caregivers and MedTechs. This was her second assisted living facility, and I know that food and kitchen are always a source of discussion. Not only was the food good, but Justin and his team go out of their way to get the feedback and concerns of the residents. They even restructured their “resident council” to ensure that constructive conversations took place. Kristy and her team of caregivers and MedTechs are very kind, compassionate, patient and caring – notwithstanding the resident’s good or challenging mood. That was especially true when my mom was going through the dying process – the entire team stepped up beyond words. When I had to leave mom’s side, I had great confidence that she would be attended to and cared for in my absence. Our family has immense gratitude for the care mom received at Eskaton Lodge Granite Bay.
