Engel Haus

My mother moved to the Gables Assisted Living in mid July. The team and residents made her welcome immediately. It was if she was their family right from the start. Jamie, Liz, Emily and Clay all contributed to this huge transition with so much help in getting her familiar and situated in her new apartment. As her daughter, I was fearful that my Mom would be wishing she was back in her condo. She has not once said that she would like to return to her condo as she is enjoying three meals a day, medication delivery, (no more worrying if she is taking it properly) assistance at the press of a button with a response time of only minutes, activities, therapy, friends, a hair salon, and it is all under one roof! I have not seen my mother this happy and relaxed in years. I wish we had made the change earlier. She didn't know how wonderful life could be at this stage I can't thank the caring and patient staff enough.

My sisters, Judy and Janielle, and I could not have found a better place for our sister Maryann. Everyone is very attentive and helpful, and there are always activities to keep Maryann busy.

We can't say enough positive things about The Gables Assisted Living and their staff. Our folks moved into The Gables in August and they both just passed. We miss them terribly yet they couldn't have been in a better facility, surrounded by caring staff. Liz and Jamie are kind, informative, and insightful - they coordinate seamlessly. Raquel's activities were a hit and we enjoyed the Facebook photo journals. Emily, the onsite nurse, is our hero and our folks loved her. Her compassion, professionalism, and planning ensured they were comfortable and well cared for throughout their journey. What a wonderful group - we're so very lucky we found them.
