Lacey Pierce put on a wonderful Tacos and Tequila event for senior professionals to network and learn about the Emerald Valley Community. It was a lot of fun with fabulous food and company. The community is beautiful, has wonderful staff, excellent food and is conveniently located. Lacey and the entire team are very caring and welcoming. I would encourage anyone to take a look at this community if considering a move to a senior community.

Emerald House may be a good place for care as long as your family member does not get sick. My mom moved in on Monday, fell out of bed on Wednesday and developed severe symptoms on Thursday. She died the following Monday. Emerald House charged us 3x the daily rate for the days she was sick. If you chose Emerald House, I recommend you thoroughly read the contract and make sure you have a large checkbook and you understand that Emerald House has an OPEN amount on the daily fees. There is no oversight on the amount that can be changed daily and it is up to their discretion which is totally unfair. Emerald House visited my mom's previous facility, talked with the facility manager and staff and they were explained my mother's health issues. Emerald House knew my mom was on Hospice and Hospice made all the determinations on her care, i.e., when she should go to the hospital. Emerald took my mom as a client knowing the facts. They required that I paid their community fee, the month of July and a month of August in advance, totally $19,000. They returned what THEY, in their discretionary and without any advance notice, was fair which was $13,000. Therefore, we paid $6,000 for 7 days of care.

My 95 year old mother has been getting excellent care at Emerald Care Home. The owner and care staff are sensitive and attentive to her needs and go out of their way to engage with her in pleasing ways. The food is good, the desserts wonderful, (which we get to sample as visitors), and the home is very clean and orderly.

Emerald Care Home is fantastic! Carmen and her staff have been taking care of my mother for over three years. My mother has been confined to her bed the entire time, and not once has she ever gotten a bed sore or had any other serious issues. They take exceptional care of their clients, and I could not recommend them more highly. The house is spotless, the food is made on the premises, and the staff are very caring and loving. I would highly, highly recommend Emerald Care Home.
