This stage of life is not easy, hence the negative reviews I’m sure. We moved my dad here from one in St Paul. His life immediately improved immensely! The facility is newer and clean… but the big win is the staff. They look after him so well and English is their first language so he can understand them. The food is always hot, and there are options if he doesn’t like what’s on the main menu. 100pct would recommend to anyone.

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for these kind words and 5-star review, Ken! We're honored to care for your dad here and love hearing about his improved quality of life since choosing us.

My family has a lot of experience at Ecumen in North Branch. We’ve been very pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the facilities. My dad and brother were both in hospice here, and it was a loving and caring experience for them and for our family. My mom is now a resident in the Assisted Living area and the experience is very good for her. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food (from her reports) is generally pretty good.

Response from the owner

Thanks for the kind words, Keith! We're honored your family has chosen Ecumen North Branch over and over again. It's been our privilege to care for your loved ones.

My mom broke her hip. After her surgery and hospital stay, we needed to find a transitional care place for her to do her rehabilitation before going back home. We chose Ecumen in North Branch and we were so glad we did! The staff were kind, compassionate and stayed on top of mom's care. My mom actually had a fall while staying there and the clinical director immediately called to let us know what happened. We chose to have an ambulance come and take her to the hospital for thorough examination. Thankfully everything was fine due to the quick response of the clinical director. The best part of Ecumen North Branch for our family was the SENSE OF COMMUNITY they provided. Everyone was talking together at meal times. Staff stopped to talk to clients regularly and seemed to genuinely care about how their day was going. Staff even offered us coffee and showed us where the treat baskets were. It felt like a big family and I think this is so critical when clients and family are feeling discouraged, depressed and displaced. A moment of care goes a long way! We had someone in the family stop in every day to check on mom. We were never disappointed with the care she received during her stay. Thank you Ecumen North Branch for getting all of us through a very difficult time of transition. We would choose you again in a heartbeat!

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We’re deeply grateful for your kind words and are honored that you chose Ecumen North Branch to support your mom during such an important time. Transitional care can be an emotional journey for both residents and families, and we're so glad we could provide the compassionate support, communication, and sense of community your family needed. It means the world to us to know that our team helped your mom feel safe, cared for, and connected and that your family felt welcomed and reassured throughout her stay. We truly believe that small moments of kindness and connection make all the difference, especially during times of healing and transition. Thank you again for your trust and for taking the time to share your story. We wish your mom continued strength and wellness, and we’re always here if you need us in the future.
