My wife had very good care and attention while she was at Eastview. The personal touch by everyone showed a high level of professional expertise and personal interest in her care. I was informed of changes in her status in person and by phone as the situations developed. The staff was very helpful and attentive to her needs. I recommend the facilty with no reservations and high regard.
Response from the owner

Horrible place for your loved one, they will let them sit in soiled clothes, my father was admitted to rehab and the covid unit was set up on this unit where residents wandered from room to room, my father contacted covid ( of course) the nurse would call daily to let me know how he was while placed in the covid bubble, the day before he passed I was called and told he was doing good but sleeping alot like everyone that has covid and 2 hours later I get a phone call from the next shift nurse saying call your family he's actively dieing, I truly believe they aren't given their medication properly and that contributed to his death and he probably gave up after sitting in soiled pants for periods of time, I would not put my worst enemy in this place.
Response from the owner
Hello Michelle, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are deeply sorry for your loss. Eastview has not had a COVID isolation unit since January 2023, and while we understand how challenging that time was for families, the concerns raised do not reflect the standards or practices at Eastview. We remain committed to providing respectful, high-quality care to all our residents. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us at administrator@eastview-health.com.
