Easthaven Villa

Easthaven is full of caring professionals that have taken extraordinary care of my mom both in the assisted living side and the memory care facility. I wish that I could express my gratitude in more ways than just this review! Thank you everyone!

Beautiful community full of staff that work hard and genuinely care about the residents.

I needed an assisted living facility for a loved one after her husband (her caregiver) had passed. Having become more and more isolated over the past 5-10 years due to their decline in heath, she needed medication management, meals, housekeeping, laundry services and reintroduced to socialization and activities. After several tours of (9)assisted living facilities in Tacoma and surrounding cities, Easthaven Villa immediately stood out as the most homey, comfortable and friendly facility we had found. This was our first impression before we were introduced to the staff or viewed the individual available rooms. She accepted moving to this facility moving within a few days after her personal furniture was moved in. That was two and a half years ago and I cannot thank the staff and administrator enough for the care and support they have given her and how relieved I have been to know she is in the best facility I could have ever found. They keep me informed of any change, notifying me that they had sent her to the local ER because she "wasn't feeling well". They were right. She was having a heart attack though her complaints were vague and she couldn't articulate any specific symptom. She remained hospitalized for ten days.The Easthaven nurse remained in contact with the hospital and discharge planner arranging the required preplacement care assessment of my sister in law that she remained appropriate for assisted living care. She required occupational therapy to regain her strength so Easthaven Villa made arrangements for that therapy to be given to my sister in law at Easthaven Villa in her own room as she was adament that she did not want to go to a rehab facility and just wanted to return "HOME". Easthaven is her home. Families should start their search of assisted living facilities at Easthaven Villa. They will realize quickly how unique this facility and their staff are. After two and a half years, my sister in law still raves about how kind and caring the staff are and that she feels they "really do care about her personally!"

We were in a panic and found this place by the grace of God! They are wonderful- My mom loves it there. They arrive within a minute when she pulls the cord, which gives us a peace of mind. They actually care for the residents and treat them as their own family and the activities are fabulous. I could go on and on. We are just so thankful for the wonderful staff at Easthaven!
