Dixie Oak Manor is, by far, one of the best Assisted Living facilities in Indian River County. The facility is under excellent management and the staff are both friendly and professional. The facility is always spotless and smells and looks clean each and every time I visit my mom who now calls Dixie Oak Manor her home. She is very content and happy with the facility and the staff. I can recommend Dixie Oak Manor to any family searching for an Assisted Living Facility where their loved one will be safe, where the food is great, and where the staff offers as much or as little activities as your family member wants. Dixie Oak Manor has earned this 5 Star rating!

Our young 34 year old relative is now residing here & absolutely loves the staff, peacefulness, cleanliness and quality of food. We searched many ALF's and they did not measure up to the quality of care, respect & service given at Dixie Oak Manor. We highly recommend this Assisted Living Facility.

Ever since the new management took over this, 'once VERY lovely place', it hit the fan! NOT ONE THING about this place is nice!! The food is less than acceptable, more patients with bedsores than ever!! They refused to call ambulance when needed. This happened to me! I had to threaten them! Still ignored, so I called for help!! They nearly killed my husband!! The last 2 years the death rate doubled!! If you are thinking about leaving your loved one here....don't!

Since 1994 Dixie Oak Manor has been striving to deliver the very best environment and care for our seniors. To this date, that has not changed. When reading your post I immediately looked into your claims. My team and I could not find any related instances and we looked back several years. Furthermore, we have no record of a male resident with this last name or a POA containing the poster's name. Upon further research, we found the poster had negative comments about four other senior facilities, all posted approximately in the same timeframe. In this less than perfect world, know that our little assisted living facility will continue to put residents first. We welcome all comments and react quickly when needed. I am especially pleased that many residents call Dixie Oak Manor home! Don Wright Administrator
