One of the best assisted living facilities I have ever been to. It’s bright, clean, and smells good. Everyone is so nice and you can really tell they love what they do, that’s something that you want to see when looking for a place. Highly recommend this place - kudos to Josh and his team!

I recently visited discovery commons while helping a friend look for the right place for their parent, and I was seriously impressed. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and more like a home than a facility. The space is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it feel comfortable rather than clinical. What really stood out was the staff—they’re genuinely kind, attentive, and seem to truly care about the residents. You can tell they go the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable and supported. The whole atmosphere just felt positive, and you could see residents were happy and engaged. Out of all the places we visited, this one stood out the most. If I were in a position to choose a place for a loved one this would absolutely be at the top of my list. Highly recommend checking it out!

Discovery Commons Whittier came in and bumped up the price $3,000- $4500. The increase had my mom’s rent go from $6500 to $10,000. It was originally called the Whittier Place. Discovery came in and no improvements have been made. It’s really unfortunate that Discovery raised prices which caused many residents to move out. Discovery came in and had no regard for the residents that were living there…it was all about money and no thought for the residents. I would NEVER do business with Discovery Commons again.
