if I could give a 0/5 stars I would. my grandma stayed here in the rehab facility for 3 weeks and it was the worst experience of her and our lives. when it comes to the facility, the rooms are full of water stains and for the most part, the staff is full of rude people. from threatening my disabled grandma, to not reporting injures or falls to us. they even threatened to fire one of the workers if she told us my grandma fell out her chair and hit herself against the wall. and they only came twice to try to get her to do rehab in her whole 3 weeks there, which defeated the whole purpose of her staying. I paid for nothing except a free bed and work they did not do. do not send your elderly to this place, you will regret it

I would never trust this facility with my parent. It seems like they care more about getting paid than the health and well-being of their residents. Maintenance is terrible and takes forever to address issues. The building has a serious roach problem, and many of the nurses and directors are rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There have also been very serious safety concerns that, in my opinion, were not handled with the transparency they deserved. Based on what I witnessed and experienced, I believe this facility should be investigated. Overall, this is not a place I would recommend to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

This facility did not appear to have the knowledge or capability necessary to properly care for my mother's medical condition. Sadly, my mother passed away just three days after being admitted. Several staff members, including Nurse Elizabeth and Nurse Ramona, seemed unfamiliar with the medications my mother was supposed to be receiving. I also attempted to speak with Director Dora regarding my concerns and what happened to my mother. Although she presented herself as polite and courteous, she walked past me without addressing my concerns and instead sent Elmer to speak with me. Elmer, who appeared to handle financial matters, showed little concern or compassion for patients and their families. He was the person who called to inform me of my mother's passing, and his tone lacked empathy during such a difficult moment. Throughout my visits, I observed staff members spending time chatting in the hallways while some patients were calling out and screaming for assistance. This raised serious concerns about the level of attention and care being provided. I would strongly urge anyone considering this facility to thoroughly research their options and exercise caution. Based on my experience, I did not feel that my loved one received the level of care and attention she deserved. Additionally, not all of my mother's personal belongings were returned to our family.

This is the 2nd time our Mom has been at Delmar Gardens for Rehab. The entire staff are amazing and professional, and the rooms and building are always clean. Moms been in other rehabs over the years after an hospital stay, and DELMAR IS THEE BEST, and most importantly mom feels comfortable and happy when she’s there. She said if she ever needed to go full time into Nursing home, DELMAR is where she wants to go. Thank you to all your amazing staff from admissions, to nursing staff, to housekeeping and kitchen staff for your great care of our mom.
