Back in December I was admitted to Deer Run Rehab facility after being involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in many orthopedic injuries. Deer Run specializes in so much more than traumatic brain and spine injuries. When first being admitted to Deer Run Rehab, I was barely able to sit in my wheelchair for long periods of time and struggled emotionally for a long while, but the staff in this facility treated me with respect and dignity. These staff members deserve so much credit for all the work they do with all their patients. Both Occupational Therapist, Matt Bass and Physical Therapist, Kristina give the at most attention and detail to each person they meet. At this time, only two months later I am walking and able to be apart of their outpatient program. This facility is not only a rehab center, but a family <3

Although this facility shows up when searching for drug rehabilitation, they actually deal with traumatic brain injuries. However, when I called to inquire about their services, Tammy was extremely helpful, even providing me with phone numbers to resources that might assist in my search.

Deer Run specializes in traumatic brain injury and specialized rehab. It is a facility built, "with Love", for a local gentleman who had a traumatic brain injury. This large home has spacious private rooms that one can personalize. Newly updated due to "the flood", which invaded Midland and surrounding areas in 2020. My son suffered a traumatic brain injury. He is 42. I now have "peace of mind". The atmosphere is "welcoming" and is "Homey. Home cooked meals, spacious living with vaulted ceilings. On site Therapy services. The staff is caring and kind and have genuine respect for each person. My concerns are addressed and my son is the "happiest" he has ever been. The owner expertise (who is the RN along with years of experience), provides myself the strength, knowledge and wisdom I need to insure his needs are fulfilled. 'Living life" with a Traumatic Brain Injury, is extremely complex, "I am truly grateful" for Deer Run.

Moving my daughter to Deer Run Rehabilitation has been by far the best decision we’ve made for her. Even before we officially moved my daughter there, the staff was very accommodating and attentive. Before Deer Run my daughter was receiving little to no care. Deer Run jumped right in and made her move run quickly and smoothly. Now when I see her I see a whole new person, she is always smiling. I could not ask for a better facility and staff to take care of my daughter. They have treated her just like a member of their own family. I would greatly recommend them to anyone who is looking for care for their loved one. You will not be disappointed with Deer Run!
