I have lived by the Dayton care facility in downtown Kenosha for years. I have toured the facility and found it to be exceptionally clean with updates to the rooms and kitchen. It is very well run with management being on point.

As someone that has seen this facility personally I can attest to the unacceptable living conditions these people live in. There is a infestation of bed bugs, and the vending machines are full of expired food for staff and residents. The silverware is not clean and has remnants of food on them. This facility is a disgrace and disgusting. I've never seen such a nasty disgusting place before. There are so many issues that need to be fixed, and the managers are incompetent. They should be shut down. Attached is a picture of a bedbug from the facility.

My husband and I volunteer here, and love these veterans! These men have been a part of the Kenosha downtown for decades, and deserve our respect. I'd recommend the Dayton as a volunteer opportunity for anyone looking.

It’s not good at all. I came to their place expecting good facilty but they weren’t fair to me. I was overwhelmed with the bad experience. Sorry to say this but not expected at all..
