Cranberry Park of West Bloomfield

We brought our family member here and couldn't be happier! The staff is FANTASTIC! The activities and engagement that Dolores offers in Memory Care is literally the best I've ever seen (and we researched a lot of places before moving my mom). Dolores deserves a gold medal (and a bonus)! She's incredible in more ways than I can even list. They actively keep residents engaged in activities, which is so important for memory care patients. The rooms are cleaned daily. The staff is very attentive; we have cameras in the room, and we watch closely (we are also on-site multiple times a week). Robin Richardson was the reason we moved our family member into Cranberry Park--she went out of her way to communicate, accommodate, and help in every way possible. Robin is such an asset to Cranberry Park and is the glue that keeps this truly a stellar place for any person needing assisted living and/or memory care. I highly recommend!

It's a very difficult and challenging journey to experience your mom's decline due to dementia. A once vibrant, intelligent, loving individual is fading away. However, when you have confidence she's receiving ongoing care, personalized toward her needs, the journey becomes easier. Memory Care at CP has been so attenuative, engaged, respectful, and caring with my mom. As with all residents, they emphasize engaging in meals and activities-and that's so important! As for me-only wanting the very best for my mom-the reassurance of knowing she is well cared for provides relief and comfort. In addition, the ongoing communication and support for me as well, is invaluable.

After realizing my mom could no longer live safely on her own, our family toured so many memory care communities, and honestly, we left most of them feeling discouraged. Then we found Cranberry Park, and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for her. The community is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, the cost is affordable compared to many other options we looked at, and, most importantly, the care is truly individualized to meet each resident’s needs. The biggest surprise has been how much my mom is thriving. She has made so many wonderful friends and stays busy every single day with activities, entertainment, and outings. She is smiling, laughing, socializing, and genuinely enjoying life again. Seeing her so happy has given our entire family such peace of mind. I also have to give a special thank you to Delores. She is an absolute godsend. Her compassion, patience, and genuine love for the residents shine through in everything she does. We feel incredibly lucky that she is part of my mom’s care team. Knowing my mom is surrounded by people like Delores has made all the difference. If you’re searching for a memory care community for someone you love, I can’t recommend Cranberry Park enough. They have given my mom not just excellent care, but a true community where she is thriving and living her very best life. We are forever grateful.

After meeting with Robin, we moved my mother from another facility to the memory care unit at Cranberry Park of West Bloomfield. This turned out to be a great decision. While we can see her dementia progressing , we are also seeing her happier than she was at her previous stop. The staff has been friendly and attentive. She has enjoyed the field trips, which were non existent in the prior residence. She likes the food. They encourage the residents to participate in activities. If you need a place for a family member, my family and I strongly recommend Cranberry Park.

I ended up not touring this facility and do not have a loved one here, but five stars is for their professionalism on the phone and their kind staff for helping my husband in locating somewhere that would take our insurance. Keep up the great work Cranbery Park of West Bloomfield you are so appreciated .
