COUNTRY CLUB MANOR

My family and I are so appreciative of the care and kindness that the team at Country Club Manor gave to my 94-year old mom while she was a resident there. As we looked at several assisted living facilities in the area, it was apparent from our first interaction that we felt Country Club Manor would provide a safe, friendly, healthy and care-driven environment for my mom. And they did all that, and more. I would give Country Club the highest rating and share with everyone that it is a facility that would give you a sense of comfort knowing that your loved one is being take care of by people who are kind and committed to providing the type of care and warm environment that you are seeking.

Note: better than boarding homes for my aged dad, But, rent was raised 6.3% when SSA increased only 1.6%. Also note that they do not communicate well. Twice I have gone to the front counter to discuss an issue about my dad only to be told they did not know or could not help but the manager/director can help and will call me if I leave my name and phone number. Guess what - no call back either time.

Pretty clean, but has a very retro outdated feel to it. Residents seem happy. They have daily activities to keep their residents busy. Some of the care giver staff are quite young and don't have the best "bedside manner". Not to say they are mean, just that they are not very tactful sometimes in my opinion.

The staff all are so caring. Our mother has been here for 6 years and we just love the staff. The weekly receptionist, Lynn is just wonderful. She takes care of all of our needs.

Staff was really kind and genuine with my mother in law. Grounds are shabby but care is top notch—don’t be seduced by other homes with nice grounds but subpar human touch. Common rooms with a piano a plus.
