The Cohen Home

The decision to place a loved one in an assisted living facility is never an easy one. We chose the Cohen Home and have never looked back. This is truly a family of warm, caring, competent people who welcomed us in with open arms. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

Hi: I've been a resident here going on six years and I'm happy I chose the Cohen Home over others that I visited. The staff is very friendly here and everyone, from management to maintenance, acts toward the residents in a really caring manner. It gave me pleasure when i clicked on five stars in my review because the Cohen home really deserves it.

My mother has lived at the Cohen Home for 2.5 years and we are extremely happy with our decision. The staff is wonderful and they take such good care of her. LaKeisha, the activities director does an excellent job of picking the entertainment and activities for the residents. She is really great at getting the residents involved and building excitement for what is to come that day. My mother is typically the kind of person that does not like to engage however Lakeisha has such a way with the elderly that she always gets my mom to participate in the fun. She is always thinking of new and creative ideas to engage all of the residents, whether it be in memory care or assisted living. She is a kind and caring soul and I am at peace everyday knowing that she is there with my mother having a ball. I will be sitting in my office working and pictures will pop up on my phone of my mom smiling and participating in some activity. Lakeisha goes above and beyond to make the families see what their loved one is doing during the day. That is so comforting as so often we feel guilty about having to work and not being able to be with our loved one everyday. My family loves Lakeisha and all she does for our us and our mother.

My mother has been living here for a year and LOVES it!! The staff is exceptional!! She especially enjoys all of the activities that Keisha plans for the residents. Keisha is extremely creative and enthusiastic which has made a HUGE difference in my mom’s attitude and outlook. Collette has also been an incredible nurse who has always communicated with me and truly cared about my mom’s wellbeing. I would highly recommend The Cohen Home to anyone!
