My husband has been in memory care at Fox Hollow for just over a year. The staff is attentive, caring, always helpful, and I’ve been impressed with all the activities they have for the residents to keep them engaged and encourage a sense of community and belonging. The unit is clean and secure, and it’s comforting to know he is safe and in good hands. Overall my expectations have been exceeded in every aspect of his care. A well-run facility that I highly recommend!

I moved my then 98 year old father from an assisted living facility in Pennsylvania to Fox Hollow almost three years ago. The difference in care has been night and day. Fox Hollow is adequately staffed and the residents have many activities available to them. The place is clean, the food is good (important) and I just have a level of confidence that the staff cares about the residents. Now pushing 101, I am so pleased at my decision to move him to Fox Hollow.

My father has been a resident in the memory care unit in Fox Hollow for the last year and everytime I visit him, I leave impressed. The community is clean, bright, and feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. What really stands out, though, is the staff. The nurses are so kind and patient, and it is obvious they truly know and care about each resident. They are not just doing their jobs—they interact with residents, laugh with them, and treat them like family. I also love seeing how many and the variety of activities that are available across the different needs of the residents. There are engaging programs inside the community as well as fun outings that give residents opportunities to stay active and connected. You can tell the team is always looking for ways to make each day meaningful and improve their residents’ quality of life. It’s clear that the people who work here genuinely care, and that makes all the difference. I would absolutely recommend Fox Hollow Memory Care to anyone looking for compassionate care for a loved one.

My mother has been a resident for a little over 2 years at Charter Fox Hollow. She recently had an accident and broke her hip and fractured her pelvis, devastating injuries for a 92-year-old woman. Prior to her accident, she was completely independent at Charter Fox Hollow, requiring no assistance in her daily living. After her accident, she now requires the highest level of care Charter Fox Hollow can provide. Both my mother and I were extremely relieved when she was able to return home to Charter Fox Hollow after a hospital and rehab center stay. Needless to say, the rehab center stay was not a very good experience for her. I was not certain that Charter Fox Hollow would be able to take my mother back with all of the assistance that she requires now, but Charter Fox Hollow is providing all the services she needs on a daily basis. All of the staff, from the aides to the Executive Director, has helped my mother and I navigate this crisis in her life. They provide daily motivation, pleasant attitudes, and a genuine concern for her well-being and rehabilitation. I would not hesitate to recommend Charter Fox Hollow after seeing firsthand their capabilities, helpfulness, and concern for their residents.

My mom has been at Fox Hollow for over 7 months now. Between phone calls and tours, I considered and compared 14 senior living facilities when deciding where to place my mom. Fourteen!! She is diagnosed with moderate stage Alzheimer’s, and living with me was no longer a safe option for her. I wanted somewhere that would take excellent care of her, provide her with socialization, work with me as her POA to keep me updated, and really just give her a place to live that provides care, fun, and as much independence as possible. Almost immediately I knew that Fox Hollow was “the one”. The interactions I’ve had with every staff member (I mean everyone - marketing, nursing, directors, billing, front desk, med tech, food service, maintenance) has been pleasant. Any concerns I’ve had have been addressed quickly and with care. Everyone knows my mom by name, and all the other residents, as well. They encourage her to attend activities. She’s received on site PT and uses their on site/consulting primary care NP. Her FirstHealth Palliative care team visit her on site and are very familiar with staff there. She gets her meds as she supposed to. They help her stay independent while also helping with daily activities as she needs. Maintenance needs are addressed quickly. No issues with losing laundry like other facilities. The facility is clean, bright, and quiet. My mom has gone from isolating herself and barely eating when living at home, to now attending activities every day and going on weekly trips, she’s made friends, she smiles and laughs, and is eating well and enjoys the food. As hard as this decision was to make, she is genuinely doing so well. I’m thrilled for her. My only “complaint” is price, and unfortunately all senior living is expensive, this one was one of the higher priced ones. I do feel like I’m getting what I’m paying for. The other downfall is unfortunately they do not accept Medicaid, so if my mom needs to switch to that in the future, I will have to move her, and that will be unfortunate. They had a change in management companies as my mom was transitioning to living there, but luckily I have not noticed any change in the quality of care she receives. She has not needed the memory care wing yet, and is currently in the assisted living area. If the time comes, I’m happy they also have memory care on site for an easy transition. I would absolutely recommend Fox Hollow to anyone who wants quality care for their loved one or if you are looking for yourself.
