Euclid house had an exceptional caregiver (Vinnie) who went above and beyond, she loved the residents, creative mind, always had an activity going even for residents who didn't wanted to, she sure had a way of encouraging them, very respectful and kind, always smiling, has a great sense of humor, knowledgeable and confident, she was one of a kind. She cared for my grandmother to the very end. I was happy when I heard she got promoted, I called one day and was saddened to hear she got fired, not sure what happened. She was greatly appreciated.

I have been a volunteer song leader/pianist for this home and have spent a couple of hours at a time at this home. We sing in late afternoon and I love that the residents are gathered in the living room while the care team cooks dinner and goes about their chores. It smells so great as they cook and we sing. Quite often, residents are brought a snack and a beverage while they relax and sing with us. The home is filled with light and furnished with residents in mind. It is always clean and residents are happy and talk freely with us and each other as well as the staff. Often staff members seem like family to them; we pay close attention to care staff interaction and it appears healthy and positive. Staff members help us with names of residents and often help residents share their stories with us to make our time together more personal and interactive. I can’t wait until this pandemic is over and we are able to return to our volunteering at Euclid. It’s a beautiful home and I would not hesitate to have a loved one living there.

Residents are well loved at Rocky Mountain Assisted Living. Euclid is clean and cozy, providing seniors a warm and inviting home. Residents are heard and valued and have a say in planned activities, bi-weekly outings and home-cooked meals. Residents are treating like people and not a room number!
