The care provided at Castle Rock Assisted Living is amazing!!! The compassion and care they provide to their residents is truly worth recognition. I am so grateful for the care they provided to my grandmother and my father during their residency. During hard times they stood by us, listened, and made sure every need was achieved. Thank you, Castle Rock Assisted Living, for all you have done. You will forever be in our hearts.

After navigating healthcare for my father, a stroke survivor for three decades, I was dubious that we would find a suitable place for my mother who started hospice in our home and needed next-level care. Her unwavering advocacy for him informed us, and we owed her the best possible experience. The unexpected came in CRAL’s Rose Petal home nestled in a beautiful neighborhood only five miles away. The lovely owner/manager family welcomed us with assurance and expertise. My mom resided in an astonishingly nice, large, and naturally-lit room. With proactive communication, CRAL’s mother-daughter team served as my allies and swiftly dealt with concerns during our adjustment. Their partnership with the hospice team, and added support like a Eucharistic Minister from the local Parish, blessed us with peace and calm. Most importantly, the owner family employs and retains extraordinary caregivers who handled my mother’s care with dignity—from respectful bathing on her terms, to comforting meals, to sound laundry practices, to professional Rx administration, to cozy bedding—while radiating Divine joy and love. For three months, this allowed me to simply act as loving daughter. With my vulnerable mother in capable and trusted hands, we found moments of tenderness and grace that helped us cope during her decline and since her passing. With gratitude, the Rose Petal team holds a special place in my heart, and my family wishes them success and happiness always.

This review is long overdue. My father had Parkinson's that had progressed to a point where he wasn't comfortable trying to manage his own care any longer. He lived in VA at the time. He asked me to find an assisted living facility here in CO for him to move into (refused to live with me and "burden" me). Through a series of events, we chose CRAL - Rose Petal. Best decision ever. Gina (owner) walked me through all paperwork and processes so it was easy to understand. She gave me advice when I had no idea what I was doing or how to navigate the healthcare system. She was in constant communication with me and kept me updated as to how he was doing (it was 2020, so no indoor visits). Once visitations were allowed, I visited most days. The staff was wonderful and the other residents were rather fun too. They cared for him and made him feel safe, even when he eventually developed dementia and couldn't remember where he was. One time he couldn't recall where he was and became scared, but then he saw Fritz (caregiver) and said something to the effect of "Oh, that's my friend. I know where I am now." They kept a close eye on dad and even recognized he had a stroke (ended up diagnosed as a mini-stroke) within minutes of it happening. The staff kept him engaged as much as possible, and the other residents allowed him to join in on their activities even when he wasn't so good at them anymore. Eventually dad's disease progressed to final stages and Gina recommended hospice. Between the CRAL staff and the hospice nurses, dad was in very good hands right up until he passed on. I'm forever grateful to everyone at CRAL. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. Each of their homes has its own vibe. Some are more active and independent, some are for memory care, and some are somewhere in between.

My mom moved to the Rose Petal house in September 2023 after being diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer. Although she was only 70 years old, her disease was too severe for us to adequately care for her at home. Gina, the owner, and the entire staff of the Rose Petal house were such a huge blessing to our family during a difficult season. April, Fritz, Patrick, and Jovie were like instant family for us, and my mom loved them dearly. They loved her back and cared for her diligently in her final months, helping her with daily needs, getting her ready for appointments, and providing her with the support--medically and otherwise--to be comfortable at every stage of the process, including hospice. I never thought I would be able to say that I saw assisted living staff care for my mother as if she were their own, but that's exactly what the good-hearted people at Rose Petal did. They also cared for the rest of my family. Whenever we had questions or didn't know where to turn, Gina already knew what we needed to do and was ready to help. They were willing to talk through difficult issues and hug us when we struggled. By the end, we considered them dear friends. My mom passed away in May 2024. We miss her terribly, but we are beyond grateful for Rose Petal and the entire Castle Rock Assisted Living team. We can't recommend them highly enough. THANK YOU for everything.

I moved my mom to Castle Rock Assisted Living – Rose Petal in January 2023. I have to say they took the best care of my mom. Because they provided dedicated personal and conscientious care, I was able to get some relief from being my mom’s 100% caretaker. I was able to get some much needed time for myself knowing she would have meals and snacks and someone there if she needed any assistance what-so-ever. The house is nice and big, the bedrooms are spacious, and the patio is a nice extension to the house. Everyone who works there is kind and compassionate, and they learn about each person’s special needs. I cannot recommend CRAL enough, especially if more care is needed than one person can give. You can feel confident that your family member is always safe and being cared for.
