This facility is a disgrace — a complete and utter failure in every way that matters. The staff is shockingly unprofessional, many of whom seem entirely untrained, unlicensed, and clearly uninterested in the wellbeing of the residents. They spend more time on their phones than they do checking on patients, many of whom are left unattended for hours. It’s appalling. The conditions are horrendous. The building is filthy, smells like neglect, and feels like a prison. I’ve seen bugs crawling across tables and food trays, and the air conditioning is either broken or intentionally left off, leaving the place unbearably hot. The food is not only inedible — it’s degrading. They serve slop that wouldn't pass for cafeteria food in the worst school district. And don’t be fooled by the “menu” they post on the wall — it's a complete sham. I witnessed residents just slumped in chairs for hours, staring at paused TV screens or being subjected to loud, inappropriate music or disturbing movies that have absolutely no place in an elder care facility. There are no activities, no stimulation, and no sense of dignity or care. It’s heartbreaking to see. What’s worse is the number of incidents that happen here that get brushed under the rug. Injuries with no explanation, silence from staff, no documentation or follow-up. It's negligent and downright dangerous. If you ask questions, they get defensive or simply ignore you. This place does not care about its residents — it’s a money-making machine run by people who have no business working in healthcare. Please — do not send your loved ones here. This place is unsafe, uncaring, and unethical. You’ll regret ever trusting them. They need to be investigated and shut down.

Extremely Disappointed and Deeply Concerned I feel compelled to share our family’s experience with this facility, which has been nothing short of heartbreaking. My elderly grandmother was a resident here, and due to repeated incidents of neglect and an alarming lack of communication from staff, my mother was forced to remove her from the home. Over time, we observed clear signs that her health and basic needs were not being properly attended to. There were serious failures to inform us of illnesses she experienced—leaving us in the dark about her condition. Even more disturbing, we had reason to believe she may not have been receiving adequate nutrition. This facility has a duty to care for and protect its elderly residents, and in our experience, they failed at every level. Our family placed our trust in them to care for a loved one who could not advocate for herself, and that trust was completely broken. And this was with us visiting on a regular basis. Imagine the condition of residents who don’t have anyone checking in on them. It’s a terrifying thought and raises serious concerns about how many others may be silently suffering under their care. I would not recommend this establishment under any circumstances, and I urge others to seek alternative care options for their loved ones. The wellbeing and dignity of our elderly must come first—and sadly, that is not the case here.

I recently moved my mother to this location and the staff as well as the owner have been nothing short of exceptional. The level of care the staff has shown me thus far has been amazing. The place is extremely well organized and very clean. The owner has been very professional and has answered all of questions and concerns. The name of Casa de Paz is the perfect name for a place that has given me complete peace knowing that I have placed my mom in the perfect place to carry out the rest of her life.

Living up to its name "Casa de Paz" is a place of support for the life of the elderly, where harmony and spiritual tranquility are breathed. Although it is run by members of an evangelical church, inmates may have any religious belief or none at all. The most important thing about "Casa de Paz" is its cultural profile. Food, entertainment, attention, language and more has deep roots in the Hispanic community. It is a place designed especially for the elders of this community. Peace, love and cultural tradition.
