I chose Carlton Senior Living Sacramento because of its convenient location, excellent dining options, and the variety of care levels available. My mom, Mary, was diagnosed with early-stage dementia a few years ago. She had been doing well at home, but over time her condition progressed to the point where my siblings and I felt that assisted living or memory care would provide the support she needed. Unfortunately, she experienced a fall that resulted in a fractured left arm and required her to be transferred to a rehabilitation facility for several weeks. This incident reinforced our family's belief that she would benefit from additional support and supervision in a senior living community. I was relieved to learn that Carlton offers a wonderful middle ground for residents with early- to mid-stage dementia through their Enhanced Assisted Living progra This program gave me peace of mind knowing that my mom could thrive in a smaller, more supportive environment with increased staffing while still enjoying the independence and social opportunities of assisted living. She was not quite ready for memory care, and during my search I found that many other communities did not offer a similar option. I met with Aimee, who was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She coordinated my mom’s transition from her rehabilitation facility and made what could have been a stressful experience much easier for our family. The team at Carlton has been exceptional. Even though my mom’s dementia affects her ability to communicate her needs, the staff know her routine well and provide thoughtful, personalized care. Every time I visit, I am greeted by friendly, caring team members who clearly have a genuine interest in the well-being of the residents Dionne has been especially wonderful. On move-in day, she took the time to introduce my mom to the staff and other residents, helping her feel welcomed and comfortable from the start. Most importantly, when I visit, my mom seems happy, engaged, and well cared for. That means everything to me and my family.

It was a very difficult decision to move my dad into an assisted living community, especially since I live out of town and he would be separated from my mom, who is independent but could no longer meet all of his care needs Navigating the process was stressful, but the team at Carlton was amazing. Felix and Aimee took the lead and guided us through every step, making the transition as smooth as possible. The care has been outstanding. The staff are friendly, attentive, and truly pay attention to the details. My dad can be very demanding and difficult to please, so hearing him say that he loves living there absolutely made my day. Communication is very important to me, and the Carlton team has been excellent at keeping me informed and updated. My mom visits frequently and quickly grew to love the community as well. In fact, a few weeks later, she called me and asked if she could move into Carlton too! She is now a resident and enjoys the amenities and spending time with my dad every day. I would highly recommend Carlton Senior Living because of the exceptional staff and the compassion they show not only to my parents but to all of their residents

We had a wonderful experience working with Aimee. She was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping us find the right fit. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the entire process. This was the third facility we toured, and after meeting with Aimee, we finally found exactly what we were looking for. She took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. We truly appreciate her kindness, honesty, and dedication. Highly recommend!
