Cambridge Court Assisted Living & Memory Care

This place is awesome. It is everything needed for all phases of Senior Living from independent living, assisted living, and limited memory living. The rental houses are so beautiful! Complete with garage, front porch and patio. The food is great and it even has a superb menu. You are served at your dining table, like a fine restaurant. I absolutely love this place! Everybody is so very friendly and helpful. All the residents I saw were joyful and interactive with each other. My tour guide, Roy Dean, is such a great person who shows care for everybody. A person everybody would benefit from his friendship. I cannot imagine anything anybody wanting to live in Mesquite, near 4 interstate highways and Town East Mall could not love about this place. I wish I would have taken pictures.

Moved my mom here after a series of falls and hospital visits at their sister assisted living place in Sachse. This place is so much more suited for her and she is a totally different person after they took over her care and her meds. She has been here 6 months and you wouldn't recognize her from back then as she was thought to only have days to live. The food is good and plenty of choices. There are some MEAN people who live there and it took her a few weeks to learn who to steer clear of but there are more nice people than mean people and she has finally gotten into a good group of folks who appreciate her as a friend. This was FOR SURE the right decision for her and I highly recommend taking a tour if you have a loved one needing assistance. I would go for lunch and hang around and watch the residents afterwards and you will notice most of them have smiles and nice greetings to say which is a great sign if you only have a short time to judge.

UPDATE: Now that my mom has lived at Cambridge for a year, I want to come back and brag a little more. I wish I could give Cambridge 10 stars!! We came in with so many emotions a year ago and if I knew how my mom would thrive, we would have moved her in a couple years prior. I visit my mom every day and have come to know and love the residents here along with the amazing staff at Cambridge, The staff here is the BEST! The office staff, med aides, caregivers, dining staff are all outstanding and I could write a compliment for everyone of them (Kidi, Janaye, Elaine, Bess, Fran, Amira, Zia, Mary Ann, Neomi, Charity, Ann, Angie and Maria, just to name a few) . Tina, the activity director keeps all the residents engaged and active, providing activities for the residents and their families. She does an outstanding job! Ray & Ray Jr keep the place in perfect maintenance and the new director Tracy seems to be just what Cambridge needed. Roy Deen is the Residence director and he is the backbone of Cambridge. He makes his presence known throughout the facility and every residence loves him. All the staff is very hands on, offering love and hugs to all the residence. The staff work so great together and it shows. I can't imagine my mom anywhere else and I am so so thankful that we call Cambridge her home. ***** Wow, wow, wow! I cannot say enough great things about Cambridge Court, Roy Dean, Elaine at the front desk, Kitty and everyone else that we came in contact with. We got to talk to several of the tenants and they all love it there and seem to be so happy. It’s such a clean, beautiful environment and the rooms/apartments are adorable. The chef has been there many many years and cooks for these residence like he is cooking for his family. The food is absolutely delicious. If you were looking for an assisted living residence or memory care or an independent cottage, I would highly recommend Cambridge Court.

We enjoyed a wonderful tour of Cambridge Court on January 30th. Our guide was Mr. Roy Dean and he did a terrific job of explaining the facility to my wife and I. Roy made us feel right at home and the facility was beautiful. It was well worth our time!
