The staff genuinely cares about the residents and works hard to create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere where everyone feels at home. The property is well maintained, the activities keep residents engaged, and there is always someone willing to lend a helping hand. What stands out most is the sense of community. Residents are treated with kindness, respect, and compassion, and it's clear that their comfort and happiness are a top priority. If you're looking for an independent senior living community where people truly care, I highly recommend Brookside Senior Living.

They have always been a good facility. Pay may not be great. But, they took care of patients and facility.

The residents are the best. The management however is not. Arbitrary rules are sometimes enforced and other times ignored. Rules are very detailed listing what furniture is allowed on your porch for example. The grounds around the patio homes are very hilly making it impossible for people with disabilities to walk around outside. But in the apartments and cottages areas the ground is level and easily accessible. We lived there on the hilly part for 10 months and got out as soon as we found alternate accommodations. We were willing to pay the penalty in order to leave before our lease expired. Socially it is a great place for seniors. It is a safe place that is mostly maintained well. But it is not a good fit for people who want reasonable, equably enforced rules.

Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We’re happy to hear that you all feel that Brookside is a safe community where you were able to socialize and build friendships with other residents. We may be a little biased, but we also agree that our residents are the best! It is disappointing to hear you feel we have arbitrary rules that aren’t equitably enforced. We do try our best to enforce the rules community-wide. Unfortunately, we do occasionally miss some infractions. We apologize for this. We will use your feedback to do better in the future. We know there might not be anything we can do to make you feel differently, but please know we’ve read this, we’re discussing it and we’re working on figuring out ways to do/be better. Congratulations on the purchase of your new home! Please do not hesitate to reach out if we can be of any assistance in the future.

Ray & I really enjoy living here. The staff is really wonderful. The community is nice , clean and quiet. They have a monthly calendar with activities. You can have a walk and relax at several gazebos that are there Any maintenance needed they are right there. Staff is always helpful with any questions you have. I highly recommend living here.

Response from the owner

Thank you, Mrs. Leavitt! We have thoroughly enjoyed having you and Mr. Leavitt join our Brookside community. Penny and Esther too!
