Sumter Terrace

The staff there is very terrible it's only 2 good workers that work there one they let go because one family member lied then the supervisor will lie on other family members about staff on her because of her race she was the best worker they had they left my mom for more than a hour I wouldn't recommend

I have been so grateful for the care my mother-in-law, Cindy, receives at Sumter Terrace. From the moment she moved in, it was clear that the staff genuinely cares about the residents and treat them with kindness, patience, and respect. The caregivers are not only compassionate, but also highly competent, which gives our family great peace of mind. What truly stands out is the senior staff—they are always available, incredibly helpful, and consistently go above and beyond whenever something extra is needed. Whether it’s addressing concerns, communicating with family, or simply making sure residents feel comfortable and supported, their dedication does not go unnoticed. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. One of Cindy’s favorite features is the beautiful courtyard, which provides a peaceful and enjoyable space to relax and spend time outdoors. Overall, Sumter Terrace has been a wonderful place for Cindy, and we are thankful every day for the care and attention she receives there.

Our mom has been at Sumter Terrace for a year now. We are so pleased with how quickly she adapted and the loving staff is to thank for that. She has dementia but every single team member takes the time to dote on her and make her feel special and included. We have an open line of communication with Taylor and Kayla and they’re always available to talk to us and will even take it upon themselves to call and let us know how she’s doing. God placed these wonderful people in our lives at a time we needed them the most. We trust them implicitly with her safety and her happiness.

Father in law has been here for past year and has received excellent and compassionate care from everyone . Staff goes extra mile providing care and friendship .
