Brookdale Stanwood

My Mom was here from July 2019 untill October 2020 after thet kicked her out because she was falling too much. She was left alone for hours even after calling for assistance. No one checked on her. She would lay in her room for hours. She suffered from a stroke and had Parkinson's and needed assistance, obviously. Her place was never cleaned. They stole her 5k antique queen Anne Victorian bed. No one knows what happened to it! I demanded they reimburse her but I had to PROVE to them she owned this bed and what the value was. Impossible to get call backs and no one at the front desk and the person in charge never there. I would re-evaluate if you are thinking of having a loved one live here.

I'm impressed with Brookdale Stanwood and wanted to leave a review to share. The building is decorated nicely and kept clean. All of the staff are really great. I know that they truly care for my aunt and have often gone above and beyond to make sure the residents are celebrated and cared for. The leadership communicates proactively and all the staff really care. The food is delicious. Activities and events are engaging. My aunt is very happy living at Brookdale Stanwood and I always enjoy visiting.

We had a great tour at Brookdale with my aunt. David led the tour and was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to answer all our questions and make us feel comfortable. Everyone else we met along the way was also warm and welcoming, which really stood out. It left us with a very positive impression of the community.
