Brookdale Shreveport

Overall we have been happy with our mom’s experience at Brookdale. The staff and nurses seem to really care about her and try to make her experiences good ones.

The first time I visited Brookdale Shreveport I knew in my heart it was exactly what I was looking for. Staff was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and the atmosphere was cheerful and alive! Everything was explained to me on how an Asst Living facility works. From payment to Housekeeping. All Staff answered all my questions promptly. My Mother was admitted in May 2025, and it is such a relief knowing she’s taken care of 24/7. We are in the process of moving our Dad into Brookdale Shreveport. We are so happy with the friendliness of the staff, the safety and comfort of the facility, and the new friends Dad has already met. We were worried Dad wasn't going to like the idea of moving to a memory care facility. But after we finished our tour, he said "sign me up"! The Sales Manager, Mali, was wonderful to work with during the process. Brookdale Shreveport has such a home-like atmosphere. We definitely recommend it!

May family is happy with Brookdale Shreveport because it's a smaller facility with a pleasant home-like environment. You can be comfortable in many different areas throughout the facility or be catered to if you choose to stay in your apartment. There are many outdoor areas, including a courtyard and they are animal friendly. The menu has choices and the food is good. The staff is friendly make you feel at home, they are attentive to your needs. There are a variety of things to do, and well-planned events that include your family members. The facility is easy to get to and close to amenities; transportation is available if needed. It is a well-kept, safe, and inviting facility, we feel comfortable having our family member there.

Brookdale Shreveport has been a godsend to our family. My mom was a resident there for about 2 1/2 yrs and they took the best of care for her. The staff became a part of our family and took the best of care of her. Everything is great including the food. If you ever need an assisted living for yourself or a family member, I would definitely recommend Brookdale Shreveport!
