Brookdale Oak Park

My mom has been at Brookdale for over a month now. Brookdale has made her feel at home. The care has been tremendous and making this experience for my mom and family with no worries. Brookdale was our 1st and only choice for her to live.

The Apartments are good but lack washers and dryers. Otherwise I would rate activities and food service as mediocre.

Brookdale Oak Park has been providing excellent care for my loved one. Coordination and continuity in care have been excellent throughout. Staff are responsive and attentive to the needs of both the residents and the family members involved which has been greatly appreciated. This has included help with accessing additional needed community based services. My aunt’s accommodations allow her to have the varying levels of assistance she needs while having a sense of home, friends around her and access to her favorite neighborhood shops and activities. It is a pleasure to provide this review and to recommend Brookdale.

My brother found the Brookdale in Oak Park near his home, for our dad to move to when he needed the care of an assisted-living facility. He was a resident there for 5 years and was in the absolute best of care and conditions. Can't say enough good things about the facility and staff, I'm not sure you could find better. So many great essential things come to mind, the room, conditions, the staff, the food, the amenities, the neighborhood, etc. All the residents are treated so well. Our dad was very content there and it was reassuring to know he was in such a wonderful place. Highest praise and thanks to the Brookdale in Oak Park, and highly recommended! One additional note, that I've visited friends in two other Brookdales and they were likewise outstanding, so it seems Brookdale sets a standard for excellence in assisted leaving.
