I was very impressed when I started looking to move my mom from assisted-living to memory care. I liked that this place was smaller where she would get more personal care. The staff seemed very friendly and the price was very good compared to other places. When we visited my mom‘s doctor for the pre-check, he stated that he had a relative that stayed there for a couple years and absolutely loved it with no complaints whatsoever. He mentioned the staff was very nice. Later in that appointment, his nurse ended up saying the same thing that her father-in-law was there for a couple of years and gave it high marks. I have already recommended it to my neighbor who is looking for a place for her mother.

My mother in law has been at Brookdale for over a year and she has a beautiful room, very homey and comfortable. She is safe and well taken care of by a loving friendly staff. No regrets in having her reside at Brookdale.

Brookdale Monroe is a wonderful place. They accepted our Aunt after she was asked to leave her prior facility. The facility is clean and well taken care of. Her room is always clean and she enjoys most of her time there. She has memory issues and her confusion is handled lovingly by the staff.

I would never recommend this place for quality care of your loved ones. Due to medical issues of my own, I put a camera in the room of my loved one. I was told nursing staff wasnt allowed to mess with them but have video evidence of 1st shift covering my camera up. My loved one was miserable there as well and broke her hip trying to get up. She ate and drank just fine for me but is only given medication to where she now has 1 week to live. Due to family drama and staff harrassment i dont feel comfortable going back, which is something id like to prevent for others in the final days.

The atmosphere at Brookdale Monroe allows our Mom to be herself in a comfortable environment where she is encouraged to be independent. The genuine compassion the staff show and safety provided gives our family peace of mind.
