The staff is very friendly wherever/whenever you encounter them on the property. The food is very good. Parking for guests is a problem as there is no designated spaces for them so people tend to park wherever they can.

Every employee, from the nice lady at the front desk to their terrific community manager, have been amazing to work with! And I absolutely love how the community has been updated. It's so beautiful sitting lakeside!!

I couldn’t believe the cleanliness level; there were dirty glasses (with food particles still on it), dirty plates, and the servers barely ever came to me but used vulgar language and gossiped in the corner. The women at the front desk didn’t even greet me!

Went from a four star under Brookdale to a 2 star Discovery Village. Unfortunately this place is going in the wrong direction ! The facility itself is a lovely lakeside setting, the apartments are spacious but the food is unmistakably the first cut! Brookdale provided an extended good quality menu with at least three new choices nightly as well as at least two choices of freshly prepared vegetables. The choices are the same with one special each night but the rest of the menu is the same. There is a hotdog choice every night if you can believe that!! Barf! Also several sandwiches and cold salads. Not very appealing or healthy…there used to be at least three hot choices of a meat chicken or fish.. also staff is starting to leave.. that speaks for itself! I’m hoping that these are just kinks. They’re going to be resolved, but I would hold off if you’re considering discovery Village for your loved one.!
