I think this is a very nice place. It offers all kinds of activities, and the food is freshly made. The staff helps with self-care, and there are laundry facilities with same-day return. You can have food delivered to you, eat in the dining room, or cook your own meal. There are many outings throughout the year, and every holiday is celebrated.

The people I’m working with to get my aunt settled at Discovery Village have been wonderful to work with. I have been in at out of the location several times on short notice and without an appointment and there was always someone to help, answer my questions and show me around. A big thank you to Ellen, Karen and Kim.

The best part of living here are my fellow residents and the staff. As opposed, at my age, living alone--here I always have something to do and enjoyable people to do it with. I look forward to having you come join us!

This is the perfect place for my 95 year old mom. She enjoys daily exercise class, chair volleyball, making crafts, and happy hour with entertainers. Just recently had fun at a ground hog horse racing day and going to check out their Super Bowl Squares with mom.

Overall, I would say this is a very good assisted living/independent living facility. The facility itself is beautiful, the room my father stayed in needed some updating but the issues were cosmetic. My father said the food was very good and he had several options to choose from. All of the staff are very attentive and nice. They have plenty of activities and the residents seem to get involved, always busy in the lobby and common areas during the day(except for the pool lol). I am very happy with the facility and the time that my father stayed there and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones.
