Let's not forget, just because the company changed their name from Cardinal Senior Living to Riverstone, the same issues remain. A very sorry excuse for a facility. I have took notes with concerns expressed that are still problematic, which are the following : • Staff are unprofessional. While visiting, staff are rude and talk vulgarly. Staff has cliques and staff gossips. Staff doesn't properly change certain bed ridden residents in a timely fashion. • Building management is also unprofessional, also gossips, and are not fit for their jobs. Yes, this means they are talking inappropriately about your loved ones. Management does not communicate efficiently. It’s also felt that management is inconsiderate, and as well as possible bias. Management staffs very poorly on all shifts. Leaving one Medication Aider and one Nursing Aider for residents at times. Causing residents to not get the proper care in a reasonable amount of time. • The entire building is notified and fully aware of pests problems. Including the following : Various spiders, worms, beetles, etc… • The structure of the building is also an issue aiding to pests. Multiple doors have cracks at the bottom. The door frames are not secure. This is allowing pests to enter as well as aiding residents’ escape. • Kitchen staff half washes silverware, mats, and/or plates very frequently. Food options for the residents are poor as well. Please, do not bring your loved to this facility.
