Brenwood Park Assisted Living

If I could give this place a zero stars I promise you I would.I have a family member thats been living here about a year. Food is so horrible,either half cooked or over cooked, serves the same cold horrible breakfast yucky eggs and bacon,no alternatives at all.The lady cook in the kitchen very rude, unprofessional and scary.No one wears gloves or hair nets just serves food. Nothing but young lazy workers always sitting in the office on thier phones. I always see two or more workers sitting in thier vehicles at one time or just hanging out.Residents call lights on for long periods of time.My family member is always soiled,teeth never brushed,face never washed and hair never combed.Never have her shower when she is suspose to have it on Mondays,laundry & trash always running over.It’s like the residents take care of themselves.Thier workers are just plain lazy.The managers need to clean house and hire more caring staff that wants to work & not just collect a work check.The new managers are absolutely horrible and doesnt care about anything. I will be calling the state

Very nice community. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to place your loved one in assisted living!

I would highly suggest not placing your loved ones in this facility. My grandmother was here and it was nothing but a terrible experience. There were nights that call lights went unanswered as well as staff seen being rude to each other and the residents. My grandmother would go extended amounts of time without a shower and we’d have to come in and bathe her. We are relieved to have found her a new home to be in that provides her with much better care.

When we moved my mom into Brenwood 2 years ago we were happy with her accommodations. The last 9 months before moving her out things declined drastically. Food was burned much of the time, which is hard for elderly to eat. Very short staffed for the amount of residents. Call lights always going off for long periods of time. Many times nighttime insulin would not of been given if my mom wasn’t aware that she needed it. Medications were also not given at timely intervals. I also witness staff being unprofessional, yelling and swearing at each other a couple of times. I unfortunately would advise looking elsewhere for your loved one’s care.

The staff are very professional, responsive, kind, and compassionate. The residents appear to be well cared for and happy. Every time I have visited, there is has been an activity, and the residents were very engaged. I have recommended friends and family to consider Brenwood for their loved one.
