Enjoying Jack, the donkey.
Response from the owner
Jack is always a big hit with our visitors and residents. I'm sure he enjoyed the company also. Thank you for the taking to time to point out our 4 legged friends. -Ed W.
Ashley Owen
discussed by the second floor care given to dementia patients. they are literally jerked by their arms out of bed or reclineres and forced to go to dining hall for breakfast in wet or soiled breifs. workers make fun of patients and get loud and angry at patients when they are annoyed by them. this is a terrible example of elder care and i would not recommend or put a family member here for any amount of money.
Response from the owner
Ms. Owen, We do appreciate you taking the time to offer your review. As disappointing as your review is to read, I am even more disappointed that as a previous employee here, you never took the opportunity to report these allegations to me, or any member of our management team for that matter. That is very disheartning because my door is always open. As an employee you boasted that your compassion for the residents was your top priority, however, your decision to communicate such allegations on google, reflects your intent is more in line with defamation of our team's hard work. Please feel free to email me if you have details so I may investigate further. We welcome all google reviews, positive and negative. I will always try to respond to each and every review. We are happy to stand by our record as one of the top rated communities in our region. We were just reviewed by the state regulatory agency last month (Jan. 2024) and receive another deficiency free survey. It is not uncommon that someone is not a good fit for a company, we wish you well in your future career opportunities. -Blakey Hall

My mom was there. We were told that my mom would be able to stay until the next phase and they help us find another place… that didn’t happen … after a meeting Brain basically told us you have 30 days to get her out… I had found a place for my mom but went they called Blakely Hall they told them a different story about my mom as far as what she needed
Response from the owner
Ms. Collins, Thank you for the review. I am sorry that you believe we didn't help you with this matter. Without discussing personal information in a public forum, I would like to share that in most cases, assisted living communities can allow residents to stay until final phases of life, however, assisted living communities are required to follow the recommendations provided by a physician. If a community receives orders that a resident's care is beyond the scope of assisted living care, they are required to inform the resident's responsible parties. We follow our physician's recommendations and offer as much support as we can along with other supportive agencies. Please feel free to contact me if there is anything further I can do to assist you. -Ed W.
