As someone who struggled with gambling for a long time and always finding it difficult to find a therapist who understood gambling, Birches Health is the perfect spot. I didn’t have to spend half my sessions explaining what a parlay was.

My wife has been in The Birches Encore memory care unit for 2 1/2 years. The care she has received has been excellent, which has eliminated a lot of worry from my life. The staff seems to honestly care about the residents welfare. Individual attention to their needs and issues is obvious. The environment is very structured which appears to give my wife a feeling of belonging and security. A daily calendar of the numerous activities is posted. The activities include crafts, art, trivia games, TV documentaries, sing- alongs and exercises. The facility is well maintained and doesn't have an institutional feel. Communication with the staff when issues arise is quick and thorough. A doctor visits two to three times per week to check on residents as required. There is a "family app" that shows each days calendar of activities and upcoming events. The food is very good. The menu is posted each day and includes options for meals. The special meals available such as Easter and Mothers Day brunches are very good. I've attended several. Christmas with Mr and Mrs Claus is great. The Kentucky Derby party was lots of fun with racing games, good food, and even mint julips. I would highly recommend Th Birches.

My husband lives at The Birches Assisted Living, and I’m grateful for the care he receives. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely compassionate, and the environment is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he is in good hands. Before choosing The Birches, I looked into several assisted living facilities. This one came highly recommended by nurses and social workers I spoke with in hospitals and other care settings. Some even said that they would like to work there if positions were available, which says a lot. It’s clear that The Birches not only takes good care of its residents but also values and supports its employees. Lastly, The Birches has a genuine commitment to environmental sustainability, which means a great deal to me and my family.

I canceled an appointment with my therapist before the 24 hour deadline and yet I was charged and when I reached out to Birches they of course said the therapist reported I did not cancel on time. Corporate greed took over and I was informed that I would not receive a refund. Terrible company.
