I had an appointment for a visit and was very impressed. They appear to be a very family-oriented, homey facility. We checked out the memory care unit and it was very lovely and cozy. I'm the end, we decided to keep Dad in his current living situation because we feel that he does not have much time left but I'm definitely going to keep it in mind I'm about 25 years or so for myself!

This is not the place to choose if your loved one has high medical needs. We were told by the DON that they could handle my dad’s needs and it just was not true. We had trouble with him not getting his meds, not getting a shower, not being proactive with illnesses, and having to wait over 30 minutes for help when falling MANY times. I was warned to not bring my dad here and I ignored that warning. The facility is very nice looking but they are under staffed. Let this be your warning to not choose Bickford of Greenwood if your loved one has any big medical needs.

Bickford is wonderful! Mom tells me she loves her apartment and the food is good. I love that some is checking on her and making sure she takes her meds when I can’t be there.
