Before moving your relative into to the asst living. Please check it out. They have no locks on the doors and employees just walk in without knocking NO PRIVACY THERE!!! my mom has had clothes missing from her closet. I counted 15 items. I reported it and a week later another item went missing nothing has been done about it. One employee walked into the room while I was there and was very surprised to see me she said oh, I thought you were gone. I was just being nosey. I feel the emoyees shouldn't have the freedom to go into the rooms while the resident isn't there. I could post alot more but my mom still lives there she doesn't want to have to move again at 97. My mom was getting her meds free through her insurance, but now she has to use their pharmacy and its costing $70 to $100 a month. They raise their rent every year. Also be aware no front desk person on the weekends. I called my mom on a weekend and she was having chest pains. She couldn't reach the button to call someone so I tried calling the front desk no answer. I had to call 9 1 1 to go pick her up. From what I understand only one person in house keeping and one care giver for all the units. Good luck.

The staff here are really caring people. Love their residents as their own family.
