Benedale Ctr-Villa St. Benedict

Just moved in and love it! Everyone has been so helpful, am meeting new neighbors, and looking forward to many years to come here, where I’ll have the support I need to care for my husband.

My father has now lived in the villas, then independent living, and now he is in assisted living at Villa St. Benedict. Through each of these moves and the times in between, we have been so impressed with the customer service, the caring nature of the people there, and the cleanliness and condition of the buildings is excellent.

This review is long overdue. We've been part of the Villa St. Benedict family for several years now, and if I’ve learned one thing in that time, if you have a relative who requires truly selective, attentive, and compassionate care, this is exactly where you want them to be. Every single person I’ve encountered here has gone above and beyond—not just once, but consistently. A perfect example of this culture happened recently when I was moving a mattress into my aunt’s apartment. It was 7:30 at night, snowing, and I was fully prepared to struggle through it alone. Cindy saw what I was doing and immediately dropped everything she was working on to come help me. That moment perfectly reflects this community: people who genuinely care and step up, even when no one is watching. The care team is equally exceptional. A year ago, my aunt experienced a fall, and the staff—especially the on-site nurse, Sonila—guided us through every step with patience and clarity. They truly have hearts of gold. They were flexible and supportive in ways that made a difficult situation feel manageable for EVERYONE involved. To be transparent, my aunt is someone who knows exactly what she wants. She has very high standards and can be quite particular, which means she isn’t always the easiest resident to please. Yet, the team at Villa St. Benedict treats her with unwavering patience, respect, and kindness. There is simply no better place for someone who needs that specific balance of structure and compassion. Her favorite things about living here really say it all: the incredible staff, the friendly residents, and the peaceful on-site chapel. She also raves about the food! Thank you!
