Bellarose Senior Living

Beware placing your loved one in the memory care unit! I had a nightmare experience with my dad. He lived here from October 2025-April 2026. During this time, he escaped twice, was prescribed medication without my knowledge, did not receive the programming and outings promised by the staff upon his enrollment, and was eventually evicted because the staff could not contain him. Additionally, I was promised a reimbursement for his rent for the month of May, as he was moved out in April. My dad was depending on this reimbursement, as he has no income whatsoever. However, later I was refused the reimbursement. The home office in Fort Worth did not return any of my dozens of calls, which left me at the mercy of the local executive director and business manager. My attorney advised me not to seek legal action, as legal fees would exceed the price of the reimbursement. My experience at Bella Rose was horrendous in every regard, and everyone considering placement for their loved one here deserves to know these things could happen to them, too.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Bellarose. The sales tour made it sound like our dad would have access to various amenities, and that he would get to go on weekly outings. But it turns out memory care is handled much different than the rest of the facility. He was rarely given access to the amenities or the outdoor courtyard. The only person certified to take seniors on outings left, and they didn’t fill that spot. The outings just stopped, and we weren’t told. It’s nice aesthetically. It’s clean. But they just aren’t honest. We also moved him out in April, but they still charged us May rent.

As a healthcare professional, I have had the opportunity to see many senior living communities, and Bellarose Senior Living stands out as one of the very best. We had an excellent experience with Bella Rose Senior Living, and I especially want to recognize Kristy. She truly went above and beyond to make the entire move-in process for my family as smooth and stress-free as possible. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, organized, and attentive to every detail. Kristy is also extremely personable and kind. She made us feel comfortable right away and treated us like more than just clients. Her warmth and professionalism made a big difference during what could have been a difficult transition. We are so grateful for her support and for how easy she made everything. Bella Rose is fortunate to have someone like Kristy on their team.

Kristy gave us a tour of the building and I was blown away with how beautiful and unique this building is. Staff were very nice and they take care of the building well!
