Generations Department provides exceptional care and enriching activities that greatly enhance the quality of life for residents. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a supportive and vibrant community for their loved ones.

Bellara Senior Living is a relatively new facility in Downtown Hayward. Sales Director Dominic Ong is awesome, knowledgeable, professional, and will work hard answer any questions you may have. The facility itself is a brand spanking new 5-story structure with secure underground parking. The grounds are impeccable and feels more like a luxury hotel than a senior assisted living facility. The Memory Care unit is bright, spacious and inviting with private units. Hands down, much nicer than all other Memory Care sections that I have seen at other facilities. If you’re looking for a Senior Living Facility for yourself or a loved, I highly recommend that you tour the Bellara.

Excitement turned sour. We were so excited to move my father-in-law to Bellara but sadly it turned into extreme disappointment. The first day he was there, care staff, and administrators came into see him and talk to us during the afternoon. Sometime between the last check-in at 9:30 pm, my father-in-law fell and laid on the floor without oxygen (because he knocked the plug for his condenser out of the wall while falling) until 9:30am when they brought him breakfast. NO ONE even came to check on him at all!! As a new resident he should have been checked on at least once or twice… but NO ONE did. Then an investigation was conducted and the Bellara staff gave false information and lied about what they said happened. If someone had checked in him, the several times they claim, , they would have found him on the floor unconscious. Yesterday we held my father-in-law’s Celebration of Life and tomorrow we are burying him.
