Even though dad was there a few months, the care and dedication was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend Bay View.

Bay View has been such a treasure to my parents, who recently moved in, and to our entire family. The staff and owners get to know each and every resident in a very personal way, giving residents one-on-one attention based on specific interests. Don, Joyce and their team go beyond what we ever dreamed a retirement facility could be. It's the extra special attention to personal details on holidays, birthdays or even just those days when someone feels a bit down that make all the difference. And the way the entire external community embraces Bay View's residents is heartwarming. It's wonderful to have such a loving, caring facility for people right in our hometown. Beyond expectations!

We were very blessed that my mom was able who stay at Bayview Gardens. The rooms are very nice but the staff are what really make the difference. Every one of the staff that I interacted with or observed, treated the residents as if they were their own Mom or Aunt. There were multiple activities that she could take part in as she wished and the longer she was there the more Involved she became. I was especially grateful for the gentle reminders that kept my mom's prescription schedule on track. She did not want to leave her house, but once there I think that she considered it home. When she eventually had a medical emergency the staff was there immediately and handled it professionally and quickly and notified us within minutes. Her stay there resulted in tremendous piece of mind for our family as we knew that she was safe and happy and well cared for.

I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the level of care and dedication that has been shown to the residents of Bayview. What stands out most is how every department—(the care staff, activities, dining, housekeeping, and management)—works together with one goal: to make residents feel safe, valued, and at home. The environment here is not only clean and well-maintained, but also warm and welcoming. Staff truly get to know each resident on a personal level, which makes the care individualized and meaningful. It’s rewarding to see residents enjoy engaging activities, nutritious meals, and genuine companionship. Families can trust that their loved ones are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. I can honestly say the team at Bayview consistently goes above and beyond to ensure residents’ comfort and quality of life. Bayview is more than just an assisted living facility—it’s a community.

Not a very clean place at all. AND NONE OF THE STAFF IS STATE CERTIFIED. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TAKING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. I WOULD WANT STA3 CERTIFIED C.E.N.A. AND ALL ADMINISTRATIIN AND MANAGEMENT TO BE STATE CERTIFIED THROUGH THE STAE OF MICHIGAN. AND THIS WONT BE THE ONLY POOR REVIEW...LOTS OF FOLKS ARE TALKINGABOUT THE LACK OF INTEGRITY AND DIGNITY THIS BUILDING HAD. THATS WHY YOUR CENSUS IS SO LOW.I had the pleasure of being harrass3d by the owner for my review. MY REVIEW IS A FORMED OPINION, WE WROTE WHAT WE OBSERVE, In no way shape of form was this review to slander anyone at this building, it was to inform that if your looking for skilled care they are not that. Thank You.
