We were looking for a place where my elderly mom could get better care than she was living on her own. We checked around about 7different care homes and decided to try Bahia Personal Care Home. They have done a wonderful job taking care of her. She has been there about a year and a half. The staff have been great with my mom and the other ladies that live there. They are now expanding so they can provide care to a few more ladies that may need assistance. I highly recommend this place.

If there was a sixth star, I would give it to Bahia’s owners and staff. My mother has had great care in her first year at Bahia. It was a great anxiety that weighed on my siblings and myself when we had to find a place for quality care for our mother, but that anxiety was relieved with Bahia personal care home. All of the nurses get a standing ovation for the care that they give to the residents who call Bahia home. There is a great communication line between the staff, myself, and my siblings. The meals are great, the activities keep my mom moving, and relationships are built at Bahia. It is a place I trust! I would not hesitate to recommend Bahia to someone looking for a place with the best care for their mother or loved one.

My mother came to live here in the summer of 2019. Bahia Personal Care Home has exceeded all exceptions with the care the Bahia team provides for my mom. They have wonderful activities each week to keep residents engaged and active. Three healthy, fresh, and tasty home cooked meals are served daily - this alone has helped get my mom’s blood sugar and diet under control. Laundry and personal hygiene are all very well kept each day. They even paint my mom’s finger nails every so often which she loves to have done. The team of nurses are so caring and kind to each resident. When my mom sees a nurse come in for their shift, she greets them with open arms and a hug each time because she is so happy to see them. This speaks volumes to me! It is a small, but very close community at Bahia, one where my mom feels safe and comfortable. My siblings and I can’t say enough good things about Bahia personal care home. It is a very special place.
