Azura Memory Care of Fox Point

"Azura is the gold standard for memory care and assisted living that all other organizations should try to emulate and follow. They most importantly meet their residents where they are. They have a great knack of understanding how Alzheimer's and dementia related illnesses move at a different pace for each resident. And yet they make the residents feel very comfortable participating in so many different activities at whatever level they are able to participate. The attention to detail in the building layouts are perfect. At Fox Point where my dad was, each separate pod you feel like you are part of a small home, part of a family; and yet the residents are free to move about into the beautiful larger areas, like the library/cafe area, where numerous larger activities occur, as well as visiting musical performances with the grand piano that is in that area. Our favorite spot and my dad's favorite spot was the outside verandah. If the weather was good enough, we were out on the verandah every visit. My dad always loved being outside and very much enjoyed that. The meals are second to none. Anything and everything for breakfast, meals of lunch and dinner, including pork chops, chicken piccata, crab cakes, and my dad's favorite shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. His appetite actually increased upon moving there. But lastly, its the genuine, heartfelt care of the staff. We certainly got very close with the staff of the Nohl House in Fox Point, as well as the nursing staff. They took tremendous care of my dad, he appreciated it and we appreciated it. We truly felt like family there. I have no problem recommending Azura to anyone. They are a class act." David Langemak

When your loved one's situation changes abruptly, it's comforting to have resources you already trust. Azura was that resource for us and we are grateful. A transition that could have been nightmarish has instead been uplifting.

The TIME program provides a nice friendly small group environment to promote good brain health and socialization -- highly recommend.

We highly recommend Azura if you have a family member who needs residential memory care. Caring and professional staff make Azura a true home. The teams treat everyone with kindness and make each day interesting for residents.

The staff was very nice. It’s new, clean and no smell. The food is good. My clients room is beautiful. It has 2 sides of rooms. The laundry was caught up. There was a small amount of trash in the kitchen.
