Atria Carrollton

My aunt recently moved to Artia Carrollton and really loves the team, from the Executive Director to the care staff! Our family is happy that she’s there!

I would not recommend this facility based on my experience advocating for my mother. I repeatedly documented concerns about my mother's mobility, wheelchair safety, and need for additional support. Those concerns were ignored, and my mother fell and required hospitalization. My mother's own nurse agreed that she needs a higher level of care. However, after we began looking at other facilities, the Executive Director, Nicole, suddenly became involved. The timing made it feel less like concern for my mother's well-being and more like an effort to retain a resident. My mother is vulnerable, and that vulnerability should never be used as leverage to influence her decisions or create confusion during a difficult time. I also experienced serious concerns with transparency and professionalism, including my email activity being shared with an outside party and communication being handled through others instead of directly with me. Families trust facilities with their loved ones. That trust requires honesty, accountability, and respect for both residents and the families advocating for them.

The Atria has been great for my mother. The location is quiet and close to doctors and shopping. The food is good with 2 choices of entree at lunch and dinner. Breakfast is made to order. Exercise sessions are offered Monday-Saturday. The floor plans are the best in the immediate area. Housekeeping is incredible! The business director is very helpful with our account. The new resident services director and the med room supervisor are friendly and very experienced. Caregivers are wonderful! Overall so glad we chose this place.

The Atria in Carrolton is a hidden gem. It is a lovely community that feels like family. The building is well maintained. Residents love the food the chef prepares and there are is a robust activity program offered. I highly recommend Atria Carrolton.

Was looking for that feeling of security and knowing your loved one is getting everything they need. Atria Carrollton provided that and much more. The staff is enthusiastic. The rooms are well-designed. The food is great. Plenty of activities to keep mom interested. Mom is happy and well cared for! Difficult to imagine a better option.
