Assured is doing an excellent job caring for my father. Very communicative and helpful, and treating my father well.

When Assured bought the company from Serenity Homes ALF, it went downhill. The management and administration were horrible at communicating, even though we asked several times for communication to improve. On a care plan Zoom call, one of the executive directors was downright rude to our entire family. I could not believe the unprofessionalism that she showed. They always assured me that there would be two caregivers on-site at all times. However, there were several occasions when I would visit my mother, and only one staff member would be there. There has been a huge turnover in staffing since Assured took over. No one wanted to stay and be treated so horribly by the senior management. For the 7 months, my mother lived in this house under Assured, it was not a good experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone or their loved ones. There are much better assisted living and memory care facilities available. The only reason why I gave one star was because of the daily staff that cared for my mother. The caregivers were sweet and professional and really did take good care of my mom. In the end, we just couldn't put up with the executive directors and the senior management and the way they ran the company.
