As a hospice partner caring for patients at Brookdale Arrowhead Ranch, we have had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with an exceptional team dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive senior care. Our experience has been consistently outstanding across both their Assisted Living and Memory Care units. We want to specifically recognize the remarkable leadership and dedication of three individuals who exemplify the heart of this community: Dora, the Executive Director, sets the tone for excellence with her vision and commitment to resident well-being. Her leadership creates an environment where quality care isn't just promised—it's delivered daily. Akemi, the Director of Health and Wellness, brings expertise, compassion, and meticulous attention to our patients' complex medical needs. Her proactive communication and collaborative approach make coordinating care seamless and ensures our patients receive integrated, person-centered support. Lawrence, the Resident Care Coordinator, is the backbone of day-to-day care operations. His genuine commitment to each resident's comfort and dignity is evident in every interaction, and his responsiveness to our partnership needs has been invaluable. As a healthcare partner, we've witnessed firsthand how Brookdale Arrowhead Ranch prioritizes not just the physical care of residents, but their emotional and spiritual well-being too. The facility is immaculately maintained, the staff is professional and compassionate, and the activities and dining options create a vibrant community atmosphere. If you're seeking a senior living community where your loved one will receive exceptional care with genuine compassion we wholeheartedly recommend Brookdale Arrowhead Ranch.

My mother entered Brookdale Arrowhead May of 2024. Right away I was impressed with the appearance. They keep it very clean and sanitary and the rooms are a nice and roomy. All the staff is very attentive with the residents and they’re seen to their needs right away. For another level of safety, each resident even gets their own alert necklace. My mom had a complicated billing issue and the staff guided me thru the whole process. The food is pretty good and the Med Techs are attentive to the medication needs. I definitely recommend this place.

Our mother has been a resident of Brookdale Arrowhead Ranch for the last six and a half years. Our family is extremely happy with the level of care and assistance she has received from her caregivers during this time. The entire staff is very caring, polite and respectful to our mother and our family. The health and wellness care she receives has always been outstanding as they keep us informed about our mother’s health and are quick to respond to any of our medical concerns. Her newest health coordinators, Akemi and Lawrence, continue to provide the quality of attention we are accustomed to. Her med-techs Bahra and Resty always go out of their way to keep us informed about any personal needs or changes in mom’s wellness. Kim, Bookdale’s program coordinator, always personally encourages mom to participate in the various activities Brookdale provides. Her caregivers always greet her with warm smile, are attentive to her personal needs and provide a clean and safe environment for her. It is reassuring to our family that the administration and staff at Brookdale are providing for the needs and welfare of our mother on a daily basis!

I know my mom is in a safe and caring facility. I have been impressed at their transparency and help with everything. I love the monthly check ins with the health and wellness director, and the med techs concerns and help with my mom. All the admin are responsive and understanding. The facility is clean and everything is well maintained. Brookdale has been a great choice for our family.

This isn’t senior living. it’s suffering. My grandmother’s 2nd-degree burns prove it That wasn’t a typo. And yes, you read it right. My grandmother was handed “soup” so hot it left her with second-degree burns through her jeans. Common serving temperature for soup is around 160 degrees, hot enough to cause instant injury. And yet, in a building full of seniors who often need assistance, Brookdale thought it was fine to serve it unmonitored and unchecked. The cruelty didn’t stop at the spill. They left her sitting in those burning jeans, never acknowledging her agony, never calling us, never even filing an incident report. For more than 16 hours, her blisters and swelling worsened while staff passed the blame instead of wrapping her wounds or getting her help. And when the ambulance finally showed up? That was only because we arrived and demanded it. The paramedics took one look and said it themselves: these burns were so severe she needed the burn unit. Now, for almost two weeks, she’s been forced to endure painful scrubbing and cleaning of her wounds, all because of Brookdale’s negligence and inaction. Sadly, this isn’t an isolated incident. So before you consider sending your beloved family member here, ask yourself: Am I willing to ignore these red flags? Food served at scalding, unsafe temperatures No immediate care or family notification after serious injuries Basic dignity and personal care neglected Leadership instability and no accountability Families deserve more than glossy brochures and staged photos. My grandmother’s burns, and the suffering that followed, are the truth of Brookdale Senior Living. If corporate won’t act, then families like mine will keep telling the truth until someone listens.
