Ashford is an exceptional place. The entire staff has been nothing but kind, attentive, communicative, and supportive to not only my mother, but to our entire family. They go above and beyond for their residents and their level of support is truly remarkable.

My mom has been residing at Ashford Assisted Living for a year now. The transition from her home was indeed challenging, and I had high hopes that she would adapt within a few months. However, it took her nearly a year to fully adjust. As many previous reviews have mentioned, the staff at Ashford is exceptional. My momās care coordinator, Ashlynn, is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to each resident under her care. I am truly grateful for her expertise and dedication. The activity staff is also highly engaging and ensures that residents remain active, happy, and socially connected. Additionally, the local LDS branch actively participates in various activities, welcoming individuals of all faiths. The administrative staff, including Heidi, Dani, Erin, Megan, Mauri, and others, is top-notch. The facility itself is immaculately clean and inviting, creating a comfortable environment for residents. A huge shout out to the cleaning and maintenance staff; they are behind the scenes but add volumes to the facility itself. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ashford Draper for providing families with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their loved ones are in capable hands.

Update: Ashford was bought out by a company with a bunch of California facilities in fall 2025. Although the building and a handful of staff remain the same, some reviews will not be relevant. Right now they seem more concerned with branding, signage, and visuals - while losing their best staff and caregivers. Thereās a lot of new people who donāt know whatās going on, causing inconsistent care and experiences. Iāve dropped my rating by 1 star for now. - - - My loved one has been in memory care at Ashford for just over four months. We'd toured 15 options before choosing this one and did not make the decision lightly. Overall we've been very pleased with the experience. It is clean, beautiful, and secure. Many of the caregivers are truly that - "care" givers. I know they are notoriously underpaid so it is amazing to see several who are so stellar. I've sat in on many activities, that need to meet diverse interests and ability/cognition levels. Anything music is a favorite and all of the activity directors have been very kind and engaging. Unfortunately, the only activity on Sunday is LDS church services, so if you're lived one isn't Morning it can be a long boring day but about half of the facilities we toured were the same. The communication has been pretty good, we get occasional updates and concerns by email or text from the care coordinator. A caution is to label everything. And even then, know you may never see it again. Which is understandable with small items like a comb, or knicknack, but we've lost a full length flight pink robe, a black pop up mesh laundry hamper, an expensive bottle of perfume, and a pair of pink fuzzy slippers. All have been missing for months. Our L.O. often forgets which room is hers and will leave things in other places. They also see something familiar and think it belongs to them, so I understand the initial confusion, but such large items for so long is just baffling. We were required to switch to their preferred pharmacy, which isn't our insurance company's preferred pharmacy, so now we have copays for medications that have always had no charge. It's understandable that it helps them better manage the meds though. There seems to be a staff Exodus happening as they have lost their administrator, director of nursing, and front desk manager all within a few weeks. That makes one nervous. Hopefully it's just a fluke.

Hi Jewel, thanks for the review. We sincerely appreciate the feedback. I'd love to personally meet with you regarding the concerns you've mentioned so we can address them as well. We are super excited to have our nurse Maggie back working with us again and as an owner of Ashford, I'm excited to be back as the administrator. Looking forward to visiting with you.

My mother was taken care of by Ashford of Draper's Memory Care unit. She recently passed as her body could not go on. From Day one, I was so impressed with how well the facility was kept. I dont know how many times I just stood in the background at Ashford watching how my mother interacted with other residents. I was most impressed by the countless times the cna's, nurses who didn't know i was there but i got to witness many many loving staff members comforting mom, hugging her, talking and listening to her, even when moms words didn't make sense. If i trusted Ashford with my mother, I would highly recommend Ashford with your loved one.
