My dad and older brother love being at Ash Street Place. They both enjoy the food. My dad had stopped eating while on his own and lost significant weight. Since being at Ash Street Place, he's now on his way back to a normal weight and enjoying eating again! The staff and nurses have all been very welcoming and attentive.

This place is very unprofessional, I call and ask a few questions I wasn’t even on the phone for 30 seconds and the woman starts screaming at me, telling me she can’t help me. I would not ever put any of my family members in this place nor would I ever recommend somebody to work here. The administration is horrible and very unprofessional.

Remember the old adage that you get what you pay for? Well this is a prime example. My mom and her friends say the food is bad and they are frequently out of very basic ingredients such as fresh lettuce and vegetables. In addition, it’s great if all you want to do is sit in your room and watch tv. Their idea of activities includes bingo and Uno. That’s about it. So if you want to save money, eat the same food (canned or frozen) all the time, and sit in your room all day then this is just the right place. They are nice people, but that’s about the only positive.
