Dear Argento, I have to give the most extraordinary compliment and thanks to your Administrator, Ashley, for her patience, excellence, professionalism, and kindness. When Ashley greets me or my dear friend and resident Lilia, it is with sincerity. One only needs to see the look on the residents faces, that flash of recognition where there otherwise may not be. What I am saying is that with Alzheimer’s disease, patients don’t always know who the person is they are speaking to. But with Ashley it is different. I see the recognition of kindness and respect for the residents, caregivers, staff and those who visit our loved ones. It is not an easy task on a good day, let alone challenging days. I cannot always visit my friends, but I know that from the Top down, Lilia is beautifully taken care of by Ashley and her colleagues at Argento. In my book she is what we call, “A Find!” I’m am secure in the knowledge that Ashley is at the helm of Argento Westchester. Annie Siegmann

My mother has been at Argento for over a year. I chose Argento because Charlene was so welcoming and warm from the second I walked in. Ashley was kind to my mother and spoke to every resident as she walked through the community. They truly love and care for the residents at Argento.

Two and a half years ago I undertook the task of finding a memory care facility for my brother-in-law. I was feeling very bleak about the locations I saw until I came to Argento Westchester. I was greeted by Ashley Shire. She toured me through the facility. I was impressed to see someone from management who was so engaged with all of the residents. The facility was clean, bright and the residents I met all seemed happy with their environment. I have to say I have been very impressed since we placed my brother-in-law there. The facility remains, clean and bright. The food the resident get is tasty and fresh. I have had the opportunity to attend some of the holiday family dinners and was truly impressed. They have daily activities that are timed to meet the attention and energy levels of their residents. Danielle does a great job of coordinating different activities. Ashley Shire remains the impressive Manager I first met. She participates with the residents and staff. She is attentive to the needs of all. The staff has always impressed me as people who have found this work with memory care as an individual calling. The kindness and warmth they treat the residents with warms your heart. I have recommended this facility to other friends who have been looking for placement for their relatives. I am truly impressed with the kindness, caring and empathy they provide to every resident. My husband has been a resident for 2 1/2 years. Our executive director, Ashley is the driving force for our happiness and satisfaction. Ashley sets the tone for the kind, caring and loving staff. The meals are delicious and made with love. Activities are engaging and Activities Director Danielle is open to ideas. My family and I are happy with his care and more importantly he is happy too. Alzsheimer’s is a hard disease for families but our minds are at ease with the love and care at Argento.

Ashley Shire was the key to a successful transfer for my wife to Avenir. Her compassion and concern for residents is excellent and continues to be shown with all residents every day. The staff and Director of Health Services, along with the facility itself combine to create a community that is better than I’ve seen anywhere else.
